Cindy Parvizi, founder and president of Cakeflake, first discovered her passion for cake decorating at the age of 14; when she received her first cake decorating set as a gift from her mother. She quickly fell in love with her newfound hobby, and the artistic freedom it provided. Over the years she has continuously found new techniques and methods, each time pushing the limits of her own abilities and trying new ways to create, recreate and design.

"I love working with cake. It's amazing to watch something come to life before my eyes, and the possibilities are absolutely endless! Every cake presents its own challenge and allows me to try something new. My absolute favorite part of course, is seeing the surprise on the recipients face when they see it for the first time. I just love it, it's totally rewarding for me."

Cindy is a huge fan of Cake artists Collette Peters, Bronwyn Webber and Debbie Brown. She loves their style and enjoys recreating their designs. They are a big source of inspiration for her. Cindy has spent years developing her skills and talent and now shares this with the public through her artistic outlet and business, Cakeflake.

You dream it - she designs it. These cakes are the most creative things I have ever seen. You can't even tell it's a cake it looks so real! I'm amazed at how she does this. The best part of it all is it's delicious too. If you want a hit at any party; this will definitely do the job!
