- What is a Cakeflake creation?
- These creations are deliciously unique and exquisitely beautiful. Each creation is personalized for the occasion/recipient. Cakeflake creations are available as All Occasion Cakes, Small Personal Cakes, and Flakecakes (cupcakes).

Even though Cakeflake creations make look very "real", they are indeed designed to be completely edible!
- How much are your creations?
- Since each custom creation involves artistic skill and is custom designed to meet your needs, a free consultation and quotation is provided. During the consultation Cindy will meet with you to understand your upcoming event and any additional details that will help her in designing a unique and memorable creation for you.
However, you can also visit the Cakeflake gallery to view fun and existing designs that are already priced and ready to order for your upcoming event. Please note "ready made creations" are not available since each creation is made fresh.
Minimum Orders
All Occasion Cakes – minimum $100.00
Smaller Personal Cakes (6") – minimum quantity of three cakes @ $35 & up
Flakecakes (cupcakes) – minimum quantity of four dozen @ $30-33 per dozen
Deposits
A deposit of $50.00 is required for all orders with the exception of wedding cakes.
Wedding cake orders require a 50% deposit upon ordering, with balance due no later than two weeks before the scheduled delivery date.
- How soon do I need to order before an event?
- Due to the unique custom design of each creation, a minimum of 10 days is required. Please note wedding cakes require at least 2 weeks notice.
Last Minute/Rush Orders
On occasion last minute/rush orders may be accommodated... just ask! However, please note, an additional rush fee of $65.00 to 75.00 applies.
- Do you ship your cakes?
- Due to the delicate nature of the artwork, Cakeflake does not ship these creations. However, arrangements can be made to have your Cakeflake creation created locally (additional fees for travel and hotel stay apply). For more information contact info@cakeflake.com
- Do you deliver?
- Yes, delivery is available for a fee of $25.00–$35.00 to Utah county, and $35.00–$50.00 to Salt Lake City, Sundance or Heber. Cakeflake creations can also be picked up from the kitchen. For more information contact info@cakeflake.com
- Do you make creations for special diets?
- Cakeflake cakes are made in a commercial kitchen, which houses equipment that may come into contact with foods containing nuts, shellfish or other foods known to cause allergies.
- What if I need to cancel?
- Orders may be cancelled within the following cancellation periods and deposits will be refunded in full:
- Wedding cakes – 3 weeks prior to delivery
- All other Cakeflake creations – 1 week prior to delivery
- Deposits become non-refundable once cancellation periods have expired.

- Cakeflake does not provide an online ordering process, since each Cakeflake creation is created just for your special occasion. A one-on-one consultation is provided to ensure that all details are captured to create the perfect creation for you. Feel free to bring anything that you feel may help you in conveying your ideas to me ie, color charts, photos, fabrics, drawings, etc.
